Fun to be 1.....

Yes that is Tegan with a bow on, he pooped on his jammies here the other night and we went a little over board, I think he is 100% boy, there is no doubt about it.

12 new things to remember about my 12 month old!!

1. My favorite thing at the moment is the way she says thank you mama, it is so cute, and I promise I get teary eyed when she does it at times, it is so sweet, and I can't believe I am her mom.
2. We have an alarm on our house so every time the door is opened it dings, without fail everytime she yells DADA!! She thinks it is him coming home from work!
3. She has been putting herself to sleep for the past month, and for 2 night in a row now has slept straight through until morning. Could our sleepless night really be over?
4. She is obsessed with being outside and cries when we come in. She is obsessed with balls and pushing stuff to. Her stroller is getting a workout.
5. She will attempt to say pretty much everything you say to her. She got in the tub the other day and said Hot, I said that's not hot. She repeated me over and over and says that's not hot all the time now.
6. She loves animals, and can now say 9 animal sounds. The chicken and the snake are my personal favorites.
7. She is obsessed with going around and saying no no to all the things she is not supposed to touch, and touching them anyway.
8. She loves grapes, and her baba. It is going to be quite the challenge to ween her of that. She hates the sippies.
9. She reads books all the time, and surprises me everytime with how many things she knows.
10. She seems much older than 12 months to me. She is so vocal and talks from the minute she wakes up, or second I guess. She literally wakes up jabbering.
11. I bought her a potty today and hope she will be a fast potty trainer. She likes sitting on the big potty, but wont go, so I figured give it a chance.
12. She hates baby food, and wants whatever we are eating. She is hard to get to eat, she can't sit still long enough to eat a full meal, she should be a bean pole by now. She doesn't stop moving either, never, moves constantly just like her dada!!
We went to the zoo yesterday, she was pretty mellow for some reason, but said wow a lot and seemed to like the animals!

So far in april....

My crazy girl, she is talking up a storm, she knows 7 animal sounds, she doesn't stop for a second, unless she is asleep, she is for sure one curious, crazy monkey! She jabbers all day long, I love her to death!

Ever loves being outside, she never gets tired of it, she points to the front door all day and says, Walk. She wants to run wild outside.





Her cute easter dress, I love it. After church today a huge hole was somehow ripped in the front. She got to wear it for a few hours, that is all.

She got some cute glasses from her grammy for easter. She looks hilarious!

She is so hard to take a picture of, she has way way way to much energy to sit still for a picture. I honestly dont know how we got this one of the 2 of them together.

I have never seen a cuter boy in all my life, he is amazing!

There has been a ton going on so far this month. I have had a lot of fun and been pretty busy! I went to St. George for a quick trip, I got to judge Desert Hills High Schools cheer tryouts, way fun. They are going to have a great squad! I came home and got to spend the second part of saturday with Brianna, Amelia and Nick. It was so fun, and so not long enough. I would love if she lived close. I love her and Amelia so much and it was a blast. Amelia is beautiful, I could not get enough of her. Easter was a blast, I won't bore you with much more words, just enjoy the pics I have taken so far this month. I do not want to make collages so this will be a long post!!!

Her birthday fun!

So on her actual birthday, I took her to see the fish and stuff at the living planet aquarium, we had fun, and she loved touching the fish.
So the bottom middle pic is funny because this is how Ever likes me to read books to her, she holds my finger and points to stuff with it. So funny I think, I have also been letting her sleep in some of my t-shirts lately, I think she looks darling in them!

We had a family party on Saturday, also Jake, Jacy, and cute little Lex came too. It was a lot of fun, we crammed a lot of people in my tiny house, but it turned out good. We had an easter egg hunt for the kids, Ever got a four wheeler, and then she ate her cake. She is such a sweetie, she was pretty honery that day, but she did great. Thanks to all that came and supported her on her birthday!

This is the funniest picture. Tara and I were making dinner sunday night. The boys were in charge and this is what they thought the kids should do. I can't believe that Tegan is in her baby stroller, but look at his arm, he is like lets go!!! I think this is the funniest picture!
Ever has these boots that we love, they are a bit big, but we couldn't resist, snow hit sunday and out came the boots, she will be to big for them next winter. They are a pain to get over her chubby legs but she looks darling in them!
She was so tired during her nap I got her out of bed to get her coat on and she stayed asleep. I love the peaceful look on her face when she sleeps! I just loved her pose!

She's ONE!!

Well I now have a one year old, and I can't believe it. It really is crazy, it flies by. She is so much fun and the light of our lives. We are so in love with her, she probably gets so sick of us kissing her and loving her, but we can't help it.
My sister in law Marci took some darling pictures of her the other day. I love them. It was freezing and we had all of 10 minutes, but it captures Ever perfectly. Thanks Marci, we love them. And Brianna designed the cute header on the top.
She was so tiny, I can't believe she was really that small. Nine days after this picture she was 3 lbs heavier. So I am serious when I say I can't believe it, it didn't last long at all. But she was so sweet then, and still is!
I am going to try to decide my favorite picture from each month, I want to see how she has grown, next post!!

St. Patricks day and more

I stinking love this little fart, I could eat her up. I love her more than anything in the whole world, and take entirely to many pictures of her. I can't believe she is going to be one in 3 days, I can't stand it. I love every stage, and don't want to anticipate anything, just enjoy every minute I can, she is such a blessing to Rhett and I, and she makes us so happy. Look at that sweet face, she is such a sweet heart. She has not had nearly as much anger lately, she is minding a bit better, and I have lightened up a bit, she is almost one, still trying to figure stuff out, I think she is going to be a good girl.

I have to say this, the sleeping at night thing is going amazing. We put her in her pack and play at night with a bottle, she falls asleep all by herself, and 3 times now has slept through the night, never wanting in our bed at all. Amazing, I never thought it would happen.
Having my sister across the street is better than I thought, we are together all the time, and I am loving it. It is so nice to have company, and even cooler that I get to see my nephew grow up. He is a doll and getting bigger every day. I love him so much, and Tara, she is a great mommy! Ever is loving it as well, she says auntie now, and loves da baby, that's what she calls Tegan, so funny. I gave her Pigtails the other day, kinda funny, kinda cute I guess!!!
We decided to let Ever open her gift from Grandma and Grandpa Yates today. It is a few days early, but we could not resist, and she loves it. It is a Bitty baby from the american girl doll collection, it has 3 outfits and a blanket, a backpack and more fun things. They got it just right, she loves it, thanks so much guys!(I look sick, just got done running) She is getting excited for her birthday, she will say Happy Bir, doesn't finish that word, but getting better, she says Abcd now, and is trying backpack since she got this cute one. She says stop it sometimes, not the best thing to say, but way funny!

Ever also received a package from Brianna and Amelia, they sent her some really cute bows and a great book, she loves it already! Thanks so much!

Some great things are happening................
1. My sister, her hubby and baby Tegan are going to be steps away from me on wednesday. They are going to be moving here, and found a place pretty much right across the street, I couldn't be more thrilled. Best news I have had in a while. I can't even describe how excited I am to be close to Tara, and especially excited to see Tegan whenever I want. We are going to have so much fun.
2. Ever is sleeping so much better, she actually slept in her pack and play from 9:30 to 6:30 one night and until 5:00 am another, lets hope it sticks.
3. I got the cutest dang picture of her for her bday announcement, I couldn't be happier.
4. I get to see Brianna and Amelia so soon, I can't wait!
