I don't like being sick

So I have had enough of this being sick stuff. I was pretty much down all last week, with a few trips to the ER to get rehydrated and getting some nausea meds, I am now able to do some things. That was the worst week of my life, I know now that the nausea is not going to magically disappear so I now just deal with it. I am on Zofran to help, and stopped taking the pre-natals I was on, and I think that is helping. Rhett makes me toast every morning, I eat it before I even get up, and that also helps. I know in the end I will completely forget this, and I can't wait for that. I am so excited still and am over 2 months now, I get to hear the heartbeat in like 2 1/2 weeks, YEAH!!!!! We are moving all of our stuff into my cousins garage right now because we don't close on our house until the end of the month, but we will be in Hawaii, a trip that was planned pre-pregnancy, and before we purchased our house, but I am still excited as heck. I just hope I feel well enough to enjoy myself, I think I will though. So that is what is going on in our crazy lives. We are both still working as well, and trying to just keep our lives as calm as we can. Can I just say how lucky I am to have the husband I have, he has taken such good care of me, and I am so grateful for him, I couldn't have done all this without him. Also my mom was such a big help, she comes over after work and helps me out. I feel so helpless, but I just wanted to die for a while, I am sure all you mommies know what I mean by that. I now know what it means to be that sick, you cannot know until you have been there. I am lucky I am better now!!! Thanks for all the messages and advice. I appreciate it, and I will keep updating more!!!!

Nichole, its true and I think I am probably due right around the exact time as you. I feel for you so much. I have had the same experience you have had. I just hope yours lets up...with Drew I was sick until the day I had her. But it is worth it. I don't know if you really forget about it, but you know what the reward is in the end. I am so glad Rhett is so good to you. It really makes all the difference in world to have a supportive husband. I am excited that we get to be prego together and keep tabs on each other. Jacy too!

I'm sorry that you have been so sick- hopefully the worst is over and you will feel better soon. I know the feeling- even though I wasn't as sick as you have been but that nauseated feeling really sucks. It is worth it though and the pregnancy will get better. I am so excited for you guys! Have you scheduled an ultrasound yet? You are finding out what it is, right? Hang in there Nichole pregnancy and motherhood are wonderful experiences it really makes you greatful for what our mom's went through for us!

My mom and sisters were horribly sick as well! and I know that is going to be my first indication when I get pregnant. It starts as soon as they feraking concive and desn't end until the hospital bed! I am totally in trouble when it's my turn! They had to eat like every five minutes or they are totally sick. I would like pack a lunch for brittany when she went to church so she could have something continually going into her tummy! Brittany and Tiffany were pregnant at the same time the first time and I fixed them food all the time and totally gained wait right along side them! becuase I would eat too! it was horrible. but fun. I am sorry you feel like crap! hang in there. and bring crackers and stuff in a little goody bag with you where ever you go.

Nichole... If you want to figure out your exact due date before you go to your appointment, go to babycenter.com and find due date calculator. You just need to know the first day of your last period... It will calculate it for you. I don't know if you already knew that but, it's kinda fun. I knew my due date the day I found out I was prego! Let me know!

well I can't say I know how you feel cause I am one of those girls you hate cause I never got sick..not even a tid bit of nausea. Hopefully my next will be the same. They say pregnancys get worse with each one and labors get easier with each one. Good luck. I hope you get over it soon!

Rach, my email is npay88@hotmail.com! Thanks for the advice, kix does sound good, I tried ginger ale, yuck! Sorry, didn't work for me. I will have to try it again. I am not puking a lot thank heavens, just a couple times, just the worst nausea ever. I am due April 2nd. I thought it was march 30, nope. That is ok, I like april, that is my b-day! I am going to freak out, I don't mean to put to much info, but I haven't gone to the bathroom, and I don't mean number one for over 9 days now. I am about to freak out. I was told to try some certain things, if they don't work the doctor will have to fix it, I will spare the details but oh my! I want that to end now, it is the worst, almost as bad as nausea. Am I a baby? Yes, but really I could be a lot worse off.
Michelle you suck for never getting sick, I hope you stay that way, it is no fun!

Jacy, you get to find out the sex soon, are you going to?

Yeah, I am gonna find out what I'm having!! You?? My doctor will only do the ultrasound at 20 weeks so, I will find out in a month. But, I could go to fetal photos next weekend if I really wanted to... we'll see. I actually kinda wish I was in your shoes about the potty thing... I can't stay off the pot (if you know what a mean!!) I am so miserable too! Oh the sacrifices we make! Haha! Oh and did you check out babycenter.com?

Nichole, I don't know if this even works or not. It is worth a try. When we were on a cruise while I was pregnant. I was sick every night on the stupid rocking boat. They would only give me green apples or ginger ale. None of it actully worked. I don't know why green apples, but it couldn't hurt to try.
I was never sick, only on the dang boat but just keep sipping tiny sips of water non stop. and always eat very bland I think. You are probably sick of all the advice and want to scream. Sorry! At least you have Rhett and your momma's support. I'd hate to have to go thorough any of that alone.

Holy Cow Nichole!! I can't believe that you have been so sick...that sucks way bad. I am glad that you are doing better...and it sounds like you are going to get that house, that is so cool! That will be so fun...I can't wait until we have our own place so we can decorate and all that jazz. ANyways, have fun in Hawaii!!

I know the ginger ale is a bit nasty but it would settle my stomach for a little bit. i also sucked on jolly ranchers all the time, i liked the sour ones. one time i sucked on a lemon cause something sour sounded so good and they smelled so good and i always ate oranges. i only got sick once a week maybe but i felt nausea all day long. i started taking my prenatal pill right before bed and that made it not so bad during the day. my only guess to why you haven't gone to the bathroom is because there isn't much to come out, if you know what i mean. april will be here before you know it, i'm saying it's a girl! hope you enjoy hawaii!
