I had a great mothers Day!
Started with cute cards from Ever and Rhett
She tried so hard to make my day special, she is so sweet
We went to church, kinda crazy as usual with Westbrook
Ever did sing on the stand though, two primary songs, she did great
Then we went to a family barbecue and Jolene's
I got to spend sometime with some of the most important women in my life
they have been through everything with me
good and bad times
I appreciate them more than they will ever know.
Thanks to my mom for teaching me unconditional love and how to be the mother that I am!
I have dreamed of being a mom for as long as I can remember
I have picked out kids names since I was 8 years old
I asked Rhett all the time when we could have kids, I didn't want to wait
I am so glad we had a few years to ourselves because things definitely change when the kids come
But I would not change a single thing
As crazy as it may seem this is what I have always wanted
It is so much better than I ever imagined, my kids make everyday so much better
I am eating up every minute of it because I am learning that it goes so fast
as I write this I am tearing up just thinking of it
How is it going so fast? I know they say time flies when you are having fun
But this is crazy. I am trying to relax about it though and not think so much about the time
I find myself taking in the moments so much more!
Like letting my kids sleep with me and not feeling mad about it, they aren't always going to be this little
I need to hold them as much as I can
Not caring about the dirty house, car, and their dirty little faces
I am trying my best to let them be little
that has always been one of my favorite sayings and I believe in it 100%
They are little for such a short time and sometimes I swear we try to hurry that up, Why???
I love seeing my kids interact, I can't even tell you how good of a big sister Ever is, she makes me so proud
Westbrook loves her and is starting to copy everything she does
I sure am grateful for these precious perfect gifts of mine
I am so grateful that I have a loving husband who makes it possible for me to spend all my time at home.
He is the best dad, and we are so lucky to have him
