Westbrook actually loved christmas, he was really into all the stuff!

Teg and Ev got wiggle cars, they are loving them!

Our attempt at a family picture!! This is what my kids look like when they are tired, one is crazy and the other one cries!

To say my kids get spoiled all the time is an understatement.
It truly gets out of hand. We totally appreciate it so much though and know that every grandparent loves them so much!

Grammy's house was a lot of fun. The kids were thrilled with their toys and had a great time!

Ever's a sunbeam!

The day finally came.
She loved nursery so much, but I felt like she had out grown it a long time ago.
She was SO excited to go to sunbeams!
She did so much better than I could have imagined.
The two things I have been told she learned is that her teacher told her heavenly father doesn't have legs, and she also learned what consequence means.
When sharing time came I was a little worried she would want to come sit with me in the back.
But she didn't. She actually sat in her chair the whole time.
I was so proud of my wiggle worm for sitting still!
I sure love this sweet girl!
She is such a joy in our lives.
I am wishing she would just stay three forever.
4 sounds way to old.

Oh my face!

Ev has this crazy smile lately, when she sees the pictures she says "that is not my real smile."

I love sundays! I am excited for Ever to finally be in primary, she seems like the oldest kid in nursery, she basically is I think. I hope she will sit with her class and not try to sit by me the whole time. West is crazy at church now, Rhett usually has him for the first hour, walking the halls, and I take him to primary with me the second hour! He is pretty active and will not sit still, oh well, they are only little once.
We love spending the whole day as a family, I wish we had more sundays!

favorite picture!!

We plan on getting professional pics taken, the weather hasnt been our friend though. I needed a little picture for his invite so I snapped these, it was freezing, and he did not want to hold his balloon. He still is so stinking cute though. I love them!!!

I will say it again, I don't know how this year has gone so fast. I dont want to believe this little man is one. He has blessed our lives so much, we all can't get enough of him, even when he is fussy.
He has been really walking for almost 2 weeks now. He is getting really sturdy and stable and cruises around. His little chest puffs up and his steps are short and fast, he walks exactly how Rhett did when he was young. He has a very long torso, it is super skinny and lean. His legs are kinda short and chubby, love his little body!
His personality is really starting to show. He is a super silly kid. He is also very very busy. His favorite place is for sure the kitchen, he could spend hours emptying the drawers, playing in the dishwasher, taking things out of the pantry and puting them back, the list goes on.
He is trying so hard to say words. My favorite thing he is saying now is HO HO HO. It is so cute. He points to everything and says dat. He says WOW. He can make the Ssss sound when you tell him to. We call Ever Sissy. I hope he calls here sis or something like that. He told ever to STOP the other day. He really makes an effort to say a lot of things.
He is still taking 2 naps most days. He loves whole milk. He could eat all day long. He can eat an entire banana in no time, he loves granola bars and pretty much everything you give him.
He is so loving. He snuggles on your shoulder. He is a major mama's boy. When I get him to sleep at night I will lay him down in his crib, a few hours later he is crying and wont stop unless I lay him next to us in bed. He smiles and does a little chuckle every time, then he is asleep in seconds. It happens every night. We wake up with four people in our bed every morning. I wouldn't change a thing though. They grow up so fast, Ever is almost 4 and it happened over night. I don't want to miss these precious years of them wanting to be right next to me.
I can't let them cry it out, it breaks my heart. I guess I am kind of a softy.
He loves baby einstein, every time we get in the car he points to the dvd players and says da(dog). They always pop on when the movie is starting.
He can sure throw a fit, it is quite funny to see him try and get what he wants. He is determined and wont back down. He does not like when he is in trouble. He truly gets heart broken when you get after him.
He is obsessed with the christmas tree and the garbage also. lots of fun!
He wakes up still between 6 and 7 every morning, and immediately poops. He is on a schedule.
he naps by about 10 at least every morning.
He loves to play in the toys
he also loves read books.
He is still a big kid, he was as big as our friends 2 year old the other day.

We sure love our little Westbrook. He is the best kid and makes us all so happy!
This year was so fun and we don't know what we would do with out him in our family.

His first birthday is weeks away and I can't stand it
How did he get this old so fast, I can't even believe it has been this long since I had him

He is the best boy, when he is feeling well that is, poor boy keeps getting sick

He likes to bother his sissy sometimes, she handles it fairly well

He has a lot of silly smiles

He loves to play anywhere in the kitchen, his favorite is the dishwasher and the drawer under the oven

I can't get over his little dark eyes, I love them!
He does this look when you are holding him and he wants you to look at him! Turns his head so it is really close to yours and so you can see his whole face, its so cute!
He is not a good sleeper anymore, he cries and cries unless I have him in bed with us now...What??
He is a tall buddy
He is totally thinning out
a lot of that has to do with him being sick recently
He likes to smack you in the face and laughs when he gets in trouble
He totally freaks out when you take away something he wants or has that he is not supposed to
he has 7 teeth
and is getting better at getting them brushed

We went swimming the other night at our hotel and he was scared to death
Biggest thing this month is the walking
he can do it

We started off the day at grammy's work, she wanted to see the kids and everyone there gets really dressed up so it is fun to see!

This is so me lately, but I AM going to be better. I am not sure anyone even looks anymore, I rarely look at blogs anymore, but I am going to do it more. I like seeing what people are up to, and checking in. If you are still blogging regularly let me know so I can know where to look! There are so many that I get overwhelmed sometimes. But I miss the days when Blogs were the thing.

This is seriously the month I would freeze him in forever if I could!

He can totally stand up on his own now, and has taken a step, I kinda want him to take his time though.

Still kinda emotional when he doesnt get his way, he can turn on the tears fast.

He really loves being outside and tasting everything he can out there, its gross.

He is seriously a happy kid, so smiley

Octoberfest

We headed up to snowbird for octoberfest yesterday!
We just walked around mostly, luckily most the people were in the lines for beer so we didn't have to wait long for the kid stuff.
We had fun and it was nice to be with Rhett for a while.

Ever 3 1/2, Westbrook 9 months

Ever turned 3 1/2 on sunday! We went and walked around Octoberfest and she got her face painted, she was so happy!

She started a hip hop/jazz class, she has gone twice and seems to like it. Ballet was on a day that wouldn't work this time, but this class should be fun! She can shake it for sure, she has some serious dance moves

She made her own sandals with pipe cleaners the other day, I was actually impressed, they were the same!

She loves to decorate everything with her bows.

She seriously looks so old to me lately, I can't stand it.

She has a serious appetite, she eats a lot and seems to be hungry all the time, growing maybe?

She has endless amounts of energy

She is such a smart little girl. We are so proud of her! She spends most of her time at her new princess desk coloring and drawing. I need to scan in some of her stuff, she is really good! She can write most of her letters, and some numbers! I can't believe she is this old, where does time go. We sure love her and don't know what we would do without her!

West @ 9 months

These monthly posts are coming way to fast

His mood is all over the place
He is so happy most the time
but he sure has a temper

He is standing all the time, even balances alone. I expect walking soon, no rush though.

This is how he tries to pick stuff up, with his mouth.

He has a hair cut every two weeks about, I would grow it out a little but it is so straight, I am not sure I would like the look of it long and straight. Cutting it is a nightmare though.

He is teething or something becuase nights are not going so well.
He is kinda shy and lays his head on my shoulder when people talk to him he doesn't know all that well.
He loves his sissy
he loves to pull her hair, and bite her to, that does not go over very well
He also hits me a lot, not sure why he does that when he is frusterated, I just put him down and walk away

He is a pretty good eater, he still gets a rash on his face from some foods
he loves all fruits, wheat bread, and really anything we give him.

He weighed 21 lbs 10 oz 77%
and was 30 inches 92%
head was 95%

Still a huge boy, he looks so old, much older than 9 months
He is still a mama's boy, I love when he crawls over and just loves me.
Still only has 4 teeth, I was expecting more by now. Ever had molars at 9 months. Runny nose, fussiness and not sleeping are making me think some are coming.
He dances every time music comes on!

FUNNY......we get told a lot that he looks asian, I think it is so funny. I was at a store the other day holding him and the girl working says to me, "so your husband is Asian." I laughed! I love his little black eyes, well really they are brown but look black, his tiny mouth and dark straight hair! I could stare at his little face all day, I sure love him!

Little mermaid

We went down to St. George last weekend to go see the little mermaid and spend a few days. We had a great time. Poor Ev got a fever on the way down and then had a ton of sores in her mouth, we just gave her medicine and thought she was fine. West got the same thing but had blisters all over his body. He ended up having hand foot and mouth. Poor Ev had it while we were there and we didn't even know it. She was a trooper though and loved Little mermaid.

Colleen, thanks so much for letting us go to that and for watching Westbrook for us. We had a great time with you!

We tried to take pictures with everyone that didn't have a line because it was so late and we needed to get back to West! Ever was thrilled, but on the way home she one by one went through all the characters she didn't get to take a picture with. Silly girl. We reminded her that she was lucky to get to take a few pictures, we could have just left. She wasn't buying it.

The carousel was fun. We went two times. West loved it I guess, you couldn't tell because he never cracked a smile, but the second we took him off he screamed. Silly kid.

We were not sure whether or not he liked the carousel until we got him off and he screamed. He never smiled or anything, he actually looked bored.

No way we are 4 months away from his 1st birthday
I am trying to slow time down and enjoy everyday
he is such a joy
he is becoming quite the little man
he has a great personality
he gets super mad when you take something away you have

he doesn't sleep very well right now

I have had to feed him with a medicine dropper for 4 days now

he has a rash on his face the doc said is eczema
Its been there almost a month
All the drool doesn't help
I am pretty sure he is getting more teeth
he already has 4 and more are for sure coming

He gets to go to class with dad now at church since I have a calling now

he likes the car a lot more now

I was so happy Tara and Troy let me watch this little man be born.
He is perfect

I love labor so much
I think it is the most special experience
Not only is giving birth yourself amazing, watching a birth is so special
especially watching my sister
She is my best friend and watching her give birth for the second time
to a perfect little boy makes me so happy.
She is amazing in labor
the mood in the room was relaxed and calm
even fun.
She barely pushed a few times
no stitches or anything(I am extremely jealous of that).

Kort came out with mounds of blond hair
I have never really seen a newborn with that hair color
he is a doll, Tegan's twin for sure
I love those boys

thanks for letting me be a part of all of it! I feel so lucky and feel a bond with both your boys after watching their births!

I missed the hard labor when I got their she had some pain relief and was doing great

Ever could not stop asking me if we could go see Kort at the hospital. She was so excited, she even did this little cry thing when I told her he was born, I said why are you crying and she said it was a happy cry.

Love summer

I am really dreading the cold weather this year. I do not want it to come at all. I love just going out whenever you want. I am not looking forward to being indoors all the time.
I also love these chickens a lot. I know I post a LOT of pictures of them but I can't help it. They are so fun.

Grandma Connie

Having my kids meet my grandma has always been really important to me. I have so many memories with my grandma and she is so special to me. I think something that makes her so special is that I can truly tell that I am special to her and that she loves me so much. I have always felt so close to her and I love her so much! Her and my grandpa made the trip to Slc from california a few weeks ago and we were able to spend a few days with them.

It was so much fun, Ever has known about her for a long time. She was so excited to get to meet her. She made her a card and just couldn't wait to see her. When we arrived at my aunts house she was getting out of the car and I handed her the card so she could give it to my grandma and she looks at me and asks the funniest question, "mom does grandma Connie have hands?" I about died laughing, for some reason it struck me so funny. I am not sure if that is what she pictured her like but it made me giggle. I told her of course she does and then she asked me to not tell grandma she asked that. So silly. She gave her lots of loves and we were all more than thrilled to spend time with her!

I LOVE these two more than I can ever say
They are my everything and I hate every second I am not with them
I am so lucky to be their mommy and I hope they will always know how MUCH I love them

I get sick thinking about them feeling sad or hurt, I hope they will always be able to come to me for love and support.
I know I was put here to be their mom, and I will always try to do the best I can. I know I am not perfect and I can get better. I do know that I love them so much it hurts and that will never change.

Westbrook turned 7 months on the 17th of July!
He is getting so big
he is now forward facing in the car
it has made things a lot better
he about has four teeth total
those top 2 have given him a heck of a time this last week
I felt them today and they broke through
I have taken him swimming 3 times and he loved it
he now is mobile
he army crawls basically
not a real knee and hand crawl
he is super active
I mean super
Everyone comments on how busy he is
he is super friendly
smiles a ton
and its so so cute

he waves hi so cute

the pics are still on the camera
he knods yes
he really tries to copy a lot of what you do
smacking his lips is one of his favorites

he is eating foods a lot better
he likes most everything I let him try
cold stuff doesn't really bother him
he is wearing mostly 12 month clothes now
he won't leave any shoes on so I dont try

he loves to walk around or run
you can't help but laugh at the way he does it
he picks his feet up so high
I will try to get a video because it is the best
he still loves his sissy
he is basically sleeping through the night
he has hit his poor little head way to many times

He really is a mama's boy sometimes and I love it
He sometimes just turns and looks me in the eyes to make sure I am holding him
I really really like it, did I say that?

I think I have cut his hair 5 times now, the top grows so super fast
he doesnt like getting it combed though
he sits in the tub like a big boy now
and loves his bath

he doesnt mind grass at all
he tries to eat everything, leaves, twigs.......
He really is a big boy, he looks so much older

I sure love this little boy, I can't believe we are getting closer to 1 than 0.
I wish I could freeze him

swimming lessons and visitors

Teg and Ever took swim lessons together for the last 2 weeks

Ever wasn't sure about the water for the first week and a half
she cried a lot
the last 3 days she loved it
she is a different kid now in the water

Tegan loved it
the only time he didn't was when he was cold

West is forward
it had to be done
he is almost 21 lbs and really tall
he is much happier
so am I!

We love when papa, yaya, maddie and adam visit
it is a blast
the kids eat it up

I can't stand it.

He was eating a otter pop, loved it
I think it felt good on his teeth

She doesn't love getting her hair pulled which he constantly does still

Looking at his hair here it looks so thick
but the back is pretty short
and he was sporting two different hair styles in the front and back
I tried my best to cut it myself, he was VERY wiggly
I need to take a picture, his new do makes him look even older
but so cute
I want it longer though, I think it will be cute

he was not very cooperative in family pictures last week
maybe he was tired
if we sat him down he just ate dirt and leaves and grass
but didn't want to be held
He is getting a little better in the car!

Ever's dance recital

Ever has been so excited to do her dance on the big stage
She has been practicing her little heart out
it payed off for the most part
the little girls got a little carried away with their spins
but for the most part it was a darling little dance
She has quite the little memory and will show her dance to pretty much anyone who asks
we got it on tape luckily

Ever loves to wear makeup and dress up
she couldn't stop looking in the mirror and pulling some hilarious faces

When she was on the stage she stood so still with her hands on her hips
I told her she was supposed to smile but figured she forgot
but as soon as the music started she put the biggest smile on and I was so happy
I was a proud mama for sure
we all were
daddy, grammy, auntie and Teg.
It was super cute and I will probably keep her in dance

Rhett took all these pictures, he said she was posing herself.
I wish I had her lengthy lashes, seriously.

Daddy got her flowers because she has been saying she would get some after the performance

He is growing up so fast

That is what we are calling her today
She is rarely going by Ever anymore
she wants to play pretend constantly
I always have to be someone else to
so does Rhett and West
I have been hunchback for a few days now

Some other things she will go by are
cinderella, doggy, kitty, jane, and belle
just to name a few
she is always needing to be rescued or saved

the one good thing about this is if you call her anything but Ever
she listens a lot better
and does what I ask the first time
kinda nice

She has such a great imagination
I love it
She plays really well and rarely gets bored
She has a ton of attitude
sometimes I don't love that
but i wouldn't change it
she is teaching me a lot of patience
I really need to get better at that

I am surprised she is wearing shoes here,
she never does
we have lost a few pair actually
because she takes them off
and doesn't know where they are

She is such a little princess
she gives the best loves and kisses
I know she loves me so much
and her daddy and brother
I couldn't have asked for a better girl

easter and more

Easter was great. We started out the morning with Easter baskets, then out to the back yard so Ever could find the eggs the easter bunny left. West was just happy to watch!

Ever will only sleep in night gowns, when I found this dalmation print one I knew it was perfect.
She is a little obsessed with dogs and she loves it. It was really cold and she got herself dressed pretty much to find eggs, that explains the outfit!

I think West looks just like grandpa Marlin in this one .

Grammy helped the kids dye eggs, they had a blast.

She also made delicious cupcakes for me since it was my birthday. I am not a fan of birthdays anymore really. This one has been especially hard for some reason. Not a fan of the number 27! But I love my life and am so happy with where I am and my family that it really doesn't matter. Bring on the wrinkles, gray hair(which I have) and whatever else is coming.

The kids were in such a good mood the other night after Ever's dance class
we got the little camera out and took some silly pictures
I feel so blessed to spend all my time with these little ones

He is still the best little guy
He sleeps like a champ at night
I put him in his bed awake most the time and he just goes to sleep
he likes his binky when he is falling asleep
he likes to sleep on his side

he spits up a lot
the doc gave us some medicine to try

he is sitting up already for short periods of time
he is not a fan of rolling from back to belly
he can go from belly to back though

he gets scared easily
he smiles at everyone

he grabs my face with both hands and puts his face to mine
it is so cute
he pulls my hair constantly
not so cute

he is wearing mostly 6 month or bigger clothes
size 2 shoes
and size 2 diapers
may need to go up a size though

he loves to play with toys
he can hold his bottle for short periods sometimes
he puts his binky in his mouth sometimes also

he did well at the doc
barely cried for his shots
he is 17 lb 14 oz 94%
and 26 in 86%
head was 43cm 76%

I have to cut his fingernails a couple times a week
he scratches his face all the time
he is not very good in the car right now

We love our little Westy!
We are so glad he is in our lives.
Our family wouldn't be the same with out him
He is such a good baby, I know I say that all the time

Now if I could just freeze time so he would be my baby forever!

He has the darkest eyes and hardly and white

Has some little teeth starting to come through on the bottom so he is always so wet from drool and always chewing on something.

Ever

Just for fun, a picture of Ev about the same age. She was so much chubbier looking but weighed less. I think they look a lot different. West has more hair and it is straight, hers was curly. Her face is round like mine, West has Rhett's face shape. His eyes are much darker to, I am pretty sure they will be brown like his dad.
I like to compare sometimes, it is funny to see how different they are, sometimes I think I see a lot of Ever in West though.

We went to disney on ice with my mom, Ev and me. She had a great time and wanted to know where cinderella was the whole time. It was fun, this was before we went.

I love these 3 more than anything, they are so amazing and I love spending all my time with them.

All though these guys look so cute in beanies, I am so so so so done with winter, just saying!

This is her first picture as a three year old. We went to breakfast in our jammies, and she got chocolate chip pancakes for her birthday! It was a lot of fun.

Then we took some pictures in our birthday outfit before we headed to boondocks.
Her face is still healing from the run in with that mean tree.

Then she wrote her name for the first time. She is really getting good at writing her letters, she knows how to write quite a few of them.

After boondocks we had cake and ice cream and presents. We didn't really do a party this year because I took her to Disney on ice instead. But my cousin came and stayed that night with his kids and Grammy, and auntie's family were all here so I think she thought she got a party. All she wanted was the rapunzel dress and cake for her birthday!

How can she really be 3? I can't believe I have been her mom for three years already, I seriously dont know where time goes. We love this little girl so much, enough to let her sleep in our bed every night. She has attitude for days, and probably will her whole life. She is so smart, I don't know where she gets it from. She loves to get dirty, but wants to wear a dress every day. She is a girly tom boy. She goes goes goes all day long! She is starting to write her letters, and sound out some words. She loves her brother. She gets in trouble a lot, and doesn't like it. She cries all the time, and gets the biggest tears. She has a beautiful smile and cutest laugh. She is very creative and comes up with her own words all the time. She can play well by herself. She likes to take her clothes off and says she is hot. She will only sleep in night gowns. She is quite the dancer and has a darling singing voice. She asks a million questions a day. She tells me she loves me all the time. She hates to see people sad. She is fighsty, sassy and sweet. She loves Cinderella! She is excited to be 3! She gets hurt constantly. She is covered in bruises and scratches. WE LOVE YOU EVER!!!!! Happy 3rd birthday sweet girl!!

Can he really be 3 months already?
He is so smiley
and a will smile for everyone
I love it
His whole face changes and gets dimples all over when he smiles
as cheesy as it sounds his smile still makes me tear up
He honestly has had 2 rough nights in the last 2 months
when I say rough I mean one of them he cried
and the other he ate 2 times instead of once
that is no lie
He has an 8:00 bed time every day
he takes 3 to 4 naps
I am not sure how I got so lucky
he is such a blessing

He loves his sissy and she loves him
He is so strong
he can sit up for short periods and not fall over
he stands up like a champ
loves tummy time
is trying hard to roll
I can put him in the bumbo chair and he does great
it is hit or miss with his car seat and the car
he has found his voice and it is so cute

he has started drooling a ton
I think teeth are soon
Ever had them by 4 months and he has done everything sooner so far
he weighs almost 17 lbs(ever was a big baby and weighed 16 lbs at 4 months)
today I read the instructions on his bassinet and it says up to 15 lbs

Ever Loves her brother.
She is so cute with him and rarely bothers him
She did want him to be a pirate the other day and put a sticker on his eye
but mostly just loves him
He loves her to as you can tell.

I went to Camie's house a few weeks ago to hang out, let our kids play and talk. It was so fun to see them. It really has been years since I have seen Michelle and McCall. All the kids had a blast and it was so nice to catch up. I can't believe how old we are getting. Thanks for inviting me Camie, it was so fun.

then went right back to sleep until 8:30
the doctor said he would be fussy from his shots.
didn't stop him from sleeping forever though.

this little one is sure cute......

But she sure does like to push.
She likes to find trouble and has started really talking back.
Listening is not something she does well either.
Love her to death, hoping we are going through a phase.
Mommy and Daddy are sick of getting after her,
seems like that is all we do.
Fingers crossed she decides that being in trouble is NO FUN.
She can be so stinking sweet though.
She is very creative, and has a great imagination.
She is also very appreciative!

We went to dance class for the first time on monday.
You have to be 3 but I figured she is close enough.
She listened so much better than I expected,
she would listen that well to me.
She loved in and can't wait to go back.
She kept saying mom are you proud of how good I did at ballet?

She picked out a wedding dress so she could marry a prince.
Now to find the prince.
I think Tegan is sick of Ever asking him to marry her.

To get some of her destructive energy out we decided to decorate cookies today.
She could make all the mess she wanted.

The trip was great. West didn't cry once in the car. He decided to be quite fussy while we were there. He got a strange rash and cried if anyone held him but me really. He had a few moments where he was happy I guess. Now he is great and I hope that he stays this way, he is so chill!!!! We had a great time visiting both grandparents. Ever loved every second of it and asks me all the time if we can go to st. george!

Feeding the ducks was so much fun for her.
She loved it. After we ran out of bread a cute lady gave her a bag full of it.
She was in heaven.
She really wanted to feed the white duck.
Really it was the goose. It got her finger once, she didn't really care though.

Ever

-Now is fully potty trained. I couldn't be more proud, she finally decided to do it and it has been so easy. Not a single accident in 3 days. She even makes it through the night and naps.

-She naps so well, crawls right into bed, gets a story read to her and goes to sleep no problems.

-She loves to read. She pays such close attention to every word and can memorize a book pretty much perfect. You would think she can read, but she memorizes it along with which picture I think. She is such a smart little fart.

-She colors so good, she is learning to stay in the lines, and colors for a very long time. She can draw smiley faces and spiders and a few other things. We are working on an E. She does a line with about 10 other lines instead of 3. It is cute.

-She is so nice to her brother, loves him and gives him his binky and toys when he is crying.

-She looks so cute in her panties. I love it.

-She wants chocolate milk every morning.

-She gets on the potty all by her self. She tells me when she is done to get wiped.

-When she does something naughty she says are you happy or sad at me!

Westbrook

-This little guy is already 11 lbs at 4 weeks today!

-outgrown newborn clothes and newborn diapers.

-0 to 3 month clothes are snug.

-eats so much, he usually is not satisfied with 4 oz. he can take 5 or 6. It is breast milk, I pump and breastfeed and he doesnt care which way, just as long as he gets it.

-He hurts me really bad still when he eats, I was hoping it would get better but he is a fierce eater. Thanks heavens he will take the milk out of a bottle to give me a little break here and there. All though pumping is a pain.

-He poops so stinking much. And it gets on him a lot, usually we go through 3 or more outfits a day. Hopefully bigger diapers will help.

-He sleeps like a champ. Usually goes to bed at 9 or 10 wakes up to eat between 1 and 2. then again at 5 and 8. He stays awake for about an hour after he eats then cries to go back to sleep.

-He is not crying during his bath anymore, but cries the second I get him out until he is dressed and being held. That is the hardest he cries. He screams when he gets lotion on him, like turns purple.

-Hasnt lost to much hair, I am so worried he will get that bald spot in the back of his head, but I don't know how to prevent it so I better get over it. It still sticks straight up, especially right after it is washed, it is so fluffy.

-Super snuggly and loves to sleep face to face with me.

-Truly is such a great mellow baby, I feel so lucky.

I truly couldn't love these 2 more if I tried!!

This little man is not so little anymore. He is growing like a weed. At his check up he has gained a little over 2 pounds and over an inch in length. I seriously have super milk and super hungry babies! He is doing great though!

Westbrook's Birth

I need to record this for my memory, hope it is not boring. But I think that giving birth is so amazing and special and I don't want to forget it.

I had an appointment on the tuesday before his birth. This was the 2nd time the doc stripped my membranes. That day I had a ton of contractions and I thought for sure it was time. About 11 that night they stopped. I was so disappointed. Not much happened wednesday so thursday I called to see if they would just strip my membranes again. They did in the afternoon, that day I had contractions pretty regularly and made 2 trips to my rec center to walk around the track. I walked and walked and I think it helped. Friday morning they were still coming. I went to the gym that morning and walked for about an hour and a half. When I got home I told Rhett we should just go and see if this was the real thing, I wasn't in a ton of pain so I wasnt sure.

We got to the hospital at about 10:30. I got checked in and dressed and then about 11:15 or so they checked me and hooked me up. I was a 4+ they said and almost all the way effaced. Kinda disappointed I wasn't dilated more but they kept me so I was happy. I started talking to my nurse about the epidural. I told her I was super nervous because of my rash last time from the tape, and how that was the worst part of recovery. The anesthesiologist came in and told me we had a few options, we could try paper tape or a one time epidural shot that lasts 2 hours about, but you can't get more so it may wear off before you are ready. I told them I was just going to see how long I could go without it and hopefully make it all the way. They broke my water about 1 or so, I wasn't good at looking at the time. I was a 5 then and as soon as the did that the contractions got crazy intense. I tried sitting in a different position on the bed almost on my knees with my arms holding the top of the bed. I only made it through like 3 contractions like that, it was the worst pain I have ever felt. The contractions were so strong and so painful I was starting to doubt I could make it. To top it off there was a women across the hall screaming at the top of her lungs having a natural child birth. So about 2 I think I said hurry and get the epidural here, I want it. Sitting through that was so hard. It felt like it was time to push. I could barely sit still, I was thinking the baby was coming out for sure. As soon as he was done I laid back down, I asked my mom and sister to make sure the baby wasn't coming out. The epidural was not really kicking in like I remember the first time. They checked me a few minutes after I got it and I was a 9+. I was like yeah, I think I am going to push.

The doctor was there so fast, he poked his head in and said do I have time to change? The nurse told him to hurry. Like a minute later he was back. As I was pushing I see Tara pull a face and say what is that, then the doctor said it to, I was like what the heck. West was face up and we didn't know it. Ever was the same way. So his face was a little bruised when he came out. I pushed 3 times I guess, that's what they said and my beautiful baby was here and perfect. We were all saying, oh he is so little, the nurse and the doctor said, oh no he is big. My mom guessed his weight exactly.

It happened so fast. Sometimes I feel like I really should have tried a little harder, I only had about 30 minutes left to go, but they didn't check me before the epidural so I didn't know I was already to a 9. I also feel that they should have sound proof rooms, hearing that lady screaming really freaked me out. But I am glad it all went well and we are both fine. That was seriously the most intense pain I have ever felt, but I think it is so cool that your body just knows what to do and you can feel the baby coming down and I loved every minute of it, even though it hurt!! I have so much respect for women who go all natural, that is amazing and takes a lot of concentration and endurance, it is super intense. I couldn't ask for a better experience though, Ever's labor was 6 hours, Westbrooks was about 3, I guess if we decide to have more maybe it will only be an hour or so!!! haha!!!

Thanks for Tara and my mom for being in the room with me. I am sorry I wasn't pleasant at all.

We told them we wanted to go home as soon as we could. He was born at 2:36 on friday and we went home at 2:30 on saturday.

He is seriously the best little man. All along I said I hope he looks just like Rhett, he couldn't look more like his dad. It is so sweet. I love the nights with him, he only wakes up 2 times, and it is our time. I seriously couldn't have a better baby. Having a boy kinda made me nervous. I was thinking will I love it the same I do a girl, will I have to be tougher or not as sweet, but he melts my heart and I can't get enough of him. I am so grateful to have 2 healthy and happy kids, they are the best!

And thanks to everyone that came to visit. I have pictures of that I will post soon. And thanks to marci and my in laws for helping with Ever!!! She had a blast!
